Go on an African Safari ride with behind-the-scenes views of dozens of African animals, such as elephants, Patas monkeys, and more (included in admission price).
Upgrade to the Tampa's ZooQuarium Pass to include a visit to The Florida Aquarium.
The zoo offers splash pads and play areas for the kids. Remember to bring extra clothes for your little ones.
All rides, including Expedition Wild Africa and Roaring Springs, are free.

Does ZooTampa at Lowry Park charge for parking?

Yes, paid parking is available through the Parkmobile system.

Can I bring a bag or backpack to the park?

Bags, purses, backpacks, and other forms of bags are allowed inside the zoo, but they will be subject to inspection prior to entering the park.

Can I bring snacks into the park for my children?

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the park. However, they offer a variety of food options at their restaurants and concession stands. There is also a picnic area located outside the park near the main parking lot. Please note that alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the picnic area.

What is included in my Lowry Park Zoo tickets?

One-day Zoo Tampa tickets are valid for admission to ZooTampa at Lowry Park any one operating day and include unlimited rides, animal chats, and wildlife connections. Parking is free for all guests. Signature encounters are excluded. However, Signature encounter tickets are available for purchase at the zoo.

Can I bring my dog to ZooTampa?

Only trained ADA service dogs and miniature horses are allowed in the zoo. Service animals must remain harnessed or leashed at all times. Personal pets are not permitted.

Is ZooTampa wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all of the park's pathways, facilities, and exhibits are accessible to wheelchair users. Some pathways feature some grades that are steeper than others. The front parking lot, entryway, and walkways are enhanced to provide easy navigation.

When is the zoo open?

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The zoo closes at 4 pm Christmas Eve, and is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Hours are subject to change without notice.
